Welcome to Sun Peaks Staff Housing!
Sun Peaks offers Staff Housing to employees of Sun Peaks Resort and the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre. Our housing facilities accommodate over 400 team members and are located within the Sun Peaks community—approximately 2 km from the main village and within walking distance.
The first step to securing your room in Staff Housing is to read, review, and sign the Staff Housing Handbook and License Agreement, and complete the Staff Housing Intake Form.
The information you provide through the intake form helps us assign the most suitable room type based on current availability. Submission of a completed intake form along with a signed License Agreement indicates your acceptance of a room placement based on what is available at the time of check-in.
Please note: Room assignments may be subject to change upon arrival due to operational needs.
What is Provided in Staff Housing:

Fully furnished units with essential furniture, cookware, and kitchenware

A twin or queen size bed with mattress and protective cover

Floor mop, dustpan, and broom

High-speed internet (Wi-Fi)

On-site laundromat access

Designated storage areas for skis, snowboards, and bikes
What to Bring:

Bedding & Linens: Staff Housing provides only the bedframe and mattress. Pillows, duvets, and linens are not included. If you plan to purchase your own bedding, please contact staffhousing@sunpeaksresort.com to confirm the bed size in your assigned unit.

Most units are furnished with standard dimension twin-size beds, however:

Red Fox Lodge units (allocated to couples) feature queen-size beds

Select units in Little Shuswap Lodge (designated for supervisory or night shift staff) also feature queen-size beds

Bedding packages (including sheets, pillows, and bath linens) are also available for pre-purchase at $130 during damage deposit payment, or during your check-in appointment.

Toiletries: Including toilet paper and personal hygiene products

Cleaning supplies: Liquid cleaners, cloths, and laundry detergent

Alarm clock or radio

Air fryer or toaster oven: Many residents in our dorm-style units choose to bring a toaster oven or air fryer, as these units include a stovetop but do not have an oven. All personal appliances brought into Staff Housing must be CSA-approved and equipped with an automatic shut-off feature to comply with safety regulations.

Groceries/Food: There is no full-sized grocery store on the mountain
Important: Kamloops is the closest city to Sun Peaks (approx. 45 minutes by car). We recommend purchasing essential supplies and groceries before arriving at the resort.

Online grocery shopping is available via Save-On-Foods, Walmart and The Real Canadian Superstore. Many shuttle providers from Kamloops to Sun Peaks will accommodate a grocery order pick-up with prior arrangement.

Flammable items (e.g., candles, incense, lava lamps)

Hooks, nails, or adhesives for walls

Large or bulky furniture

Important: Nothing may be pinned, taped, nailed, screwed, or stapled into walls or furniture.
Only CSA-approved appliances with automatic shut-off features are permitted (e.g., kettles, toaster ovens, irons). Open flames and hot plates are strictly prohibited.
