Staff Accommodation Overview
Please note that Staff Housing is intended for seasonal employees who are living in-resort on a temporary basis during their term of employment. These accommodations are designed to offer a cost-effective housing option for short-term stays.

While the rooms are fully functional, they may be more compact than what you are accustomed to. Staff who prefer more privacy (i.e., no roommate), additional space, or longer-term living arrangements are encouraged to explore private rental options within the resort.

Room assignments are based on several operational factors, including shift schedules and gender. Our housing consists primarily of dormitory-style rooms, with two twin beds per unit.

Please note: You will be assigned a roommate.
 

Permanent Employee Eligibility
New permanent employees of Sun Peaks Resort (SPRLLP) and Sun Peaks Grand Hotel (SGPLLP) are permitted to reside in Staff Housing for a limited period, up until their second May 1st following their move-in date.

Full details available in the Staff Housing Handbook and License Agreement. You will be able to look over and sign this document once you begin your intake process.
 

Building Availability
Due to required annual maintenance and operational scheduling, SPRLLP reserves the right to temporarily close individual buildings as needed.
This may result in limited accommodation options for incoming seasonal staff during certain times of the year.

WHISPERING PINES LODGE

1245 Alpine Road, Sun Peaks, BC

Whispering Pines Lodge is a shared dormitory building. The first and second floor units include a kitchen, a bathroom, and two beds. Each unit has a fridge, built-in hot plate, counter-top appliances, dishes, glassware, and silverware. Each unit also comes furnished with a kitchen table/chairs and a wardrobe. Tenants are responsible for arranging their own bed and bathroom linens.

 

WiFi service is included in this building.

BLACK BEAR LODGE

1255 Alpine Road, Sun Peaks, BC

Black Bear Lodge is a shared dormitory building. Units on both floors include a kitchen, a bathroom, and two beds. Each unit has a fridge, built-in hot plate, counter-top appliances, dishes, glassware and silverware. Each unit also comes furnished with a dresser, a kitchen table and a nightstand.

 

WiFi service is included in this building

LITTLE SHUSWAP LODGE

1275 Alpine Road, Sun Peaks, BC

Little Shuswap Lodge is a shared staff accommodation building. Each unit has four bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a common area. In each unit we provide a full size fridge, a ceramic top stove, counter-top appliances, dishes, glassware and silverware. The common area in each unit comes furnished with a couch, coffee and end tables, and a kitchen table with chairs. Within each bedroom there is a single bed, dresser, and a night stand. Tenants are responsible for arranging their own bed and bathroom linens.

 

Wi-Fi service is included in this building.

Per person bi-weekly licensee fee - $350.00 

Please note, units in Little Shuswap Lodge are allocated to our supervisory positions and those who work night shift.

THE BURFIELD

1140 Sun Peaks Road, Sun Peaks, BC

The Burfield offers shared bunk-bed style accommodation units, typically allocated to Sports School Interns. The one/two/three-bedroom micro units feature bunk beds in each room, a single three-piece bathroom (walk in shower), and a fully stocked kitchenette.

Per person bi-weekly licensee fee - $310-$350

Red Fox Lodge

1265 Alpine Road, Sun Peaks, BC

​

RFL offers micro-suite style accommodation units, typically allocated to couples arriving in resort. These units have a private bathroom, full kitchen, and queen bed. Ample storage space is available both in the room, as well as in the three dedicated storage areas on 1st floor- general storage lock ups, ski and board storage- and bike storage.
